Great to see Yandle dominate after all the garbage Oiler fans try to throw at him in all the threads they start on the trade board
Yandle did his bobby Orr imitation tonight. The guy is money. Smith had 2 soft goals, that has to stop or we play Griess. Murphy made major mistakes on 2 goals. When Z and Klesla are back he will be in AHL. OEL is stuck, can't free wheel or create because he can't risk leaving Murphy. Glad we won...

I think Smith's mental game is a bit off with the pressure of Team Canada selections. I think he'll be back to normal once that is decided. The team will be named January 7.

He's played well for most of it but a bad give away at the end of each of the previous two games too. I'm surprised Tip didn't reign him in after those ones. He sure would if it was Rundblad. But yeah, it has to affect OEL's game a lot. At this point, OEL doesn't look on track for a Norris this year but still think he will in the future.

Yotes improved to 9-0-2 in their last 11 vs. EDM.

Loved the Kennedy goal; from below the goal line, hit the net, off Bryz's back, then his skate and in. Vintage Bryz.

Gordon-Biersch Winterbock gets a big thumbs up. Tasty and potent.

I legitimately feel sorry for Oil fans at this point and have for a couple years.

I've tried to express this to them on their board a couple times (each time under the heavy influence of alcohol) but they have none of it from me.

It almost feels bad beating them.

I wonder why… hahaha

It's hard being that bad for so many years. I'm a Leafs fan as well… it hurts.

Too much pregame NYE drinking from Smith I guess. After he gets left off Canada I expect him to go on a tear as TedMosby has accurately mentioned.

I can see Greiss starting at least 3 games this month, maybe 4. 15 games in 31 days.

Greiss knows he needs to play great to earn his next contract. Probably another team will pick him up as their main goalie and the Yotes will be stuck with Smith.

Paul Bissonnette played the game of his life. He looked like a useful NHL 4LW. I'd keep dressing him until Doan is ready.

Korpikoski has looked better since his return than he did prior to the injury. He's flying out there. Could be there is hope for him to turn this season around.

It's really hard not to like Tim Kennedy.

Smith really **** the bed, but I think he will straighten himself out once team Canada fails to include him on the Olympic roster.

I do like Greiss a lot, though. I have no idea why we don't give Smith more rest. Greiss should start A LOT more than he does.

The coaching staff probably has PTSD from three years of LOL as our backup.
