Oh Frankie. I just want to fast forward to next season, where we (hopefully) don't have to watch Gionta, Bouillon, Briere and Desharnais play for the CH anymore.

Although it wouldn't be my choice, I can see DD starting the season with us because of the contract, but if ANY of the other 3 players are back, I will seriously question the decision making of our management group.

Even a ineffective Emelin is better then half of our D core but i do agree, scratching him 1 game will help him out. I think part of the problem is that Emelin has lost strength in his knee as it has not had the time to rebuild the muscle. He's lacking strength and its hard to train hard in the gym when your playing almost every 2nd or 3rd night. My honest opinion is he might improve a bit over the season but we are only going to see the old Emelin next year as he has a long summer to rebuild strength.

Totally agree with this. Gorges is good on his offside. He and Gill made a tough defensive pairing. Gorges played his offside both 5-on-5 and on the P.K. He can do it. We've all seen it.

Emelin sucks on his offside. I just don't see why they insist on having Emelin play his offside when he sucks. The guy missed training camp and hasn't played in a long long time - like 6 months. You make him feel comfortable coming back, and give him some time.

I'd love to see a P.K.- Emelin pairing.

Tonight, we're getting both Cube and Murray in the line-up.

This should be interesting...

Dallas forwards will blow right by them. Cole will probably get one of his typical blow past the D and cut to the net goals.

No one claimed the GDT for tonight's game? Guess this Pre-Game Talk will end up being GDT

Makes no sense to put Bouillon with Subban but not try Emelin with him.

It looks like a lot of people have forgotten how big a change we saw in Emelin's game once he was put on his off side. I think 99% of his signature open ice hits came while he was playing left side.

And yes, it's a HUGE change to play right when you're a lefty and vice-versa.

Bouillon Top-4? Gross.

But I guess you can't really use Subban-Gorges, Markov-Subban, cause that leaves Bouillon and Murray.

Yeah, that DD can't produce at all. He sucks.

Interesting how Emelin is scratched. I understand he isn't performing to his best, but him at his worst is almost as good as Bouillon at his best!

I sat right behind the Habs bench for th game. Pierre Gervais gave me a Plekanec stick. Habs won 3-1.
Maybe I can bring the same luck with MT?
