Welp. I officially hate the Avalanche, hope they win ****.

Great game by Simmer. Mason's weak goal killed us even though he played well. Oh well........

they're 3-1 on this road trip

There's really no reason to be mad at this loss

Chances were there, just didn't get it done. Varly looks like he's in Olympic form.

Give the Avs and Varlamov credit. They played very well. Flyers weren't doing themselves any favors, though.

They had a nice streak...gotta bounce back against the Coyotes.

Not everyone at forward was that good, but you can't really expect that out of everyone and Mason let in a weak one while Varlamov was pretty steady back there. That ended up being the biggest difference.

Disgusting effort. Disgusting. Simmonds was the only guy who showed up.

You knew it would catch up to them. They played like ass the last two game and somehow snuck away with two wins.

Wtf has happened to Lecavalier?

Couts and that 4 th line were horrendous , that game winner was weak too, cost us at least a point.

A loss was overdue to happen on the road trip. Good game to watch although Flyers took to long to get going.

Hopefully they can rebound against Phoenix.

Varlamov played great!

Since we finally lost does that mean we can get Mez out of the line up now? Also, I hate when coaches won't change their line up just because the one they use won even if there are better options.

Terrible game all around. Giroux couldn't hit the net or make a pass, Voracek couldn't do anything with the puck, Hartnell can't shoot. So many chances with Varly flopping around in net with the puck loose and no finish. Their goalie was good but the Flyers were god awful, especially in their own end.

It would have been cool if Downie converted on half of his chances tonight.

Vinny's back is still torqued. He's has no strength anywhere on the ice, and he shouldn't be in the lineup until fully healthy.

Berube makes some truly terrible decisions. With no healthy Gus I imagine Mez stays in.

Couts started bad but I thought he had a good 3rd period.

Lecavalier was on a decline when they signed him. People knew that, but a lot of people were overly optimistic and even those that weren't thought he would make up for it with face-off play. He hasn't really been all that special in the face-off circle. At least last I checked.
