Don't worry guys, we're pretty much smoked too. Italy and Uruguay in the bleeding rainforest. I can imagine Rooney fainting already.

If any of you guys ever struggled to understand cricket, this guy's got it down:

Germany are the same. They're superb going forward but their defence is slow and vulnerable. Saying that, they do have the linesmen on their side...

Portugal are a one man side. Sure, he's quite a man to have but one bad tackle and they're finished.

I understand ads and everything, they make the site run and and all and I'm fine with that. But c'mon HF, Norton is telling me it's blocking a malicious web attack "Heap Spray Generic" every time I check the site (I've since told Norton to stop notifying me as it seems to be doing the job and no further action is required).

Making me watch ads to run the site: okay
Doing stuff that may adversely affect my computer: not cool

Anyone else's system getting this kinda notification?

This has popped up for a few users. The Admins are looking into it.

McDonalds no longer has hot mustard. This now removes another product which I like from existence.

The players after Ronaldo are still better than most in the American lineup.

So since my 18th birthday ive just asked my rents for flyers jerseys of my age. Started with Richards, hartnell, pronger, jvr, and knuble last year. Any ideas for 23? I'm drawing blanks on anyone with that number in recent years.

I think Brandon Manning was the last guy to wear 23. Edit: per the post below, Huskins would have been the last to wear 23.

Other options:

Svoboda
Sinisalo
Zhamnov
Vandermeer

Anybody on here know anyone who owns or works at a sports apparel place? I have a business idea to make a quick buck but in order to get it off the ground I need someone with a business license to be able to talk to Reebok.

Have off for the blizzard tomorrow. Decided to stay up and watch the Flyers while messing around on the internet (instead of just watching in bed and falling asleep as I normally do on these west coast swings). Wish I would have just went to bed...bought a bunch of hockey and baseball cards from dacardworld.com.

They had some solid deals so I got suckered in. A box of 2011/12 Panini Pinnacle (solid list of memorabilia cards and autographs), a box of Panin "All-Goalies" which apparently is a complete set of the base cards plus a memorabilia card (only bought it because it was $5.95 and I needed free shipping, figured I might land a solid jersey card or something), and I bought Leaf History of Baseball Cut signature box (one cut signature card per box, possibility of Ruth, Gherig, and some other HOFers). No idea if the good cuts have been pulled from any of these series but I got the whole deal for $45 so I figure worth the gamble to maybe pull something cool.

How'd everyone deal with the storm last night? I got stuck at work an hour later than I was supposed to leave because my company laid off every other male over the past 8 months, so I get to do all the manual labor in the other departments before leaving. Because of that I was leaving work right into the thick of it and was sideways numerous times on the highway... Decided to ditch my car in a parking lot and walk to a hotel. Suffice to say i'm not happy with the jackasses at work and they want us in at 10:00 today which I don't think is happening.

Ouch.

Wasn't a bad clean out for me. Took about 2 hours. I'm just glad I scheduled to donate blood yesterday afternoon instead of today.
