According to Pierre McGuire on TEAM 1040...I guess that means so long to our sexy vintage number

Why, third jerseys make alot more money for teams in selling merchandise. Is the NHL trying to lose money these days?

Meh, I give the league one season, maybe two, before they reintroduce them all in the new "form-fitting" mould.

I'm sure they'll be back in some form or another too. Carefully calculated to make even more money than before. But aside from that, I'm happy, I've never liked the colour scheme of the '45-46 style jerseys they have now as the 3rd ones. I'd kind of like to see something more radical, like '24-25 or even the blasphemous ones with the Maple Leaf to really stir folks up!

My only gripe with the vintage jerseys is that the numbers are too hard to read on TV, and that's easily fixed by making the numbers white with a red border instead of the current red with a white border. They've grown on me since I first saw them - I'm considering ordering a personalized one before the year's out.

I don't like the Vintage white anyways. The Vintage red with white lace was the best.

Too bad this player s**k.

Same. I love those jerseys but the numbers are literally impossible to read from afar (either on TV or watching the game live).

It's a minor gripe because i like them too... but they're even harder to read when attending a game live.

Not a big issue for me since like most of you regular fans I'm sure, I can now tell pretty much all players appart by the way they skate and their general appearance on the ice without relying on the numbers (that said, none of the current roster is as easy to distuinguish as Zednik was because of his "unique" stick "handling" technique).

Not as bad as the damn CAPS jerseys, you can't read a THING! I loved the jerseys used in 21-22... I think we should bring those back . Time for some REAL vintage jerseys! What about the jersey with the globe?

Mitchell

i always liked your alternate...however...seeing the bruins vintage go away after such a short time...we hardly knew it

good thing is theres some rumors that with the intro of the new jerseys, a lot of teams are switching up theyre jerseys all together, for example something going around that the bruins are making theyre new jerseys a much more vintage look than now
