Very nice! Would be nice to see a current NHLer out there with current equipmemt and see what it would look like. Not too many bodychecks out there.

I just want one game where any D other than McDonagh deserves the fans praises. Its bad enough that the Forward moneyhawks on this team are collecting paychecks while they insist on not showing up for work. Whats adding to the problem is.. what the hell is this: Giradri and Del Zotto are putting up the same offensive contributions, 11p vs 7p (DZ 10 games less)

I dont even know whats going on with Staal. He's barely beating Hank in offensive contributions.

Our entire D-corp besides one beast and seemingly one rookie, is completely lobotomized

Both Nahs and Staal look like the concussion has killed their careers. Both dont use their body anymore and both make dumb decisions. Nash was never a great overall player but his defense looks worse than a rookie. I mean even when he was in Columbus he played on the PK now he just looks awful on both ends of the ice. Staal used to be out best Ddefender but injuries have certainly taken a toll

Maybe he should call up Torts and ask how to coach a defense.

Send a message via AIM to Fire Sather
Maybe AV should do some thinking and change his precious system.

Torts did, is AV unable? And people said Torts couldn't make adjustments...

That's not true about AV IMO. He inherited a team with many players who are either pass their prime or ineffective because of prior injurious. BTW, some of the injury situations are related to Torts D style, this is my point to people who wants AV to call Torts for advice. Of course Sather is responsible for players pass their prime, because he signs contracts based on previous results on other teams. IMO, it is ok to sign a player like Richards, but you don't sign him for such a long and expensive contract just because he used to be good at his prime. Sather just doesn't get it.

Nash is really gonna come out swinging tonight. I can feel it.

Swinging his stick in someone's face leading to a penalty and Leafs goal that is.

Maybe time for a little shaming in the dressing room is in order.
Or perhaps another team.only.meeting (those meetings that turn everything around).

Not sure why everyone is so down. Pyatt didn't score last night. Things are looking up.

Cam>Hank? Some guy on the main boards declared Lehner a better overall goalie and the Swedish starter.

Have to not start the game in a coma for the 1st 10 minutes like we do every night, have to have possession of the puck which we never do....

The only thing this team is good at is:

A) Horrendous starts

and

B) Lips service after losses (although with that much practice, who wouldn't be?)
