We're good at getting shutout too! Only 1 away from league lead

We're excellent at mediocracy. Never seen such a solid 0.5 trend before. It might win is the cup actually, thanks to this God blessed division.

We are playing such terrible hockey. Our stars aren't doing anything to help us win. 5/6 dmen turned retarded over the summer. Yet somehow we are still .500. I'm actually surprised.

Congrats to Zuccarello with "team player of the year award" in Norway today, well deserved!

Time for the Rangers to prove a lot of people wrong, and play a lot better for the second half of this season.

I am always optimistic ( with serious doubts this year ), but I still think they can and will be moore successfull this season.

Lgr!

I'm tired of AV.

Starting Talbot? Are you kidding me.

I think AV is about 50% at fault for Lundqvist's woes this year.

The team plays like garbage in front of Lundqvist, he gets shelled, he puts in his backup after reaming out his team, they put in a good performance, Talbot lets up 1-2 goals, and Lundqvist continues to lose confidence.

We have seen this happen again and again. I'm just tired of it.

Talbot in net = excellent choice.
I'm confident we'll win this. I'm going to say 4-1 Rangers.

Agreed to an extent.

Talbot has played well though, so we can't take anything away from that.

Talbot has played well enough. But he has also let in his fair share of soft goals, despite his excellent numbers.

And what I said rings true for most Talbot starts. He gets in after the team completely falls apart in front of Lundqvist, and the team tightens up and allows mostly perimeter shots in net.

Than AV is convinced it's Talbots top level of play that is the reason for his numbers. And we wonder why Lundqvist has confidence issues.

Lundqvist's numbers need to be taken in context with how good the team has looked in front of him. Talbot's do too because of how well the team has generally played in front of him.

Agreed. No doubt Schneider is a good goalie, but was he really ever better than Luongo or did Lu get a bad rap and the AV treatment? Seems it's this guy's specialty.

Agreed again. I don't want to take anything away from Talbot. I'm happy for him and happy we have him but he's honestly not a special goalie.

For all the positives he has brought, and he has brought positives. Lets not forget that all the time we wail at Hank because he hasnt fully morphed into a wall yet, Cam Talbot "cost" the team a OT/SO vs the Capitals.

As long as our lads show up, regardless of the outcome, I won't complain too loudly. You can't do anything about a hot goaltender or poor officiating. Let's just focus and bring our energy!
