so why did we call up ward? ***** give pouliot some playing time with gaborik and koivu, see what he can do.
Heck, Voloshenko
Yea! I'm with the Princess ... er ... with the Deucer.

Sigh, with demitra out, Gaborik and the wild can't work to there potensial.
I say trade this guy man, who is with me?
Hmmm ... where to start ...
Let's start with Forsberg. The reason he's always hurt is that he plays so physical. Conversely, Demitra doesn't check and doesn't always back check (note his lousy plus-minus). Sorry ... I'm part Swedish ... I gotz to stand up for my man, Petey. I consider Foppa tough but snakebit. Even as a Wild fan, I can't defend Demitra's toughness. Sorry.
Now that the Wild aren't discussing injuries, we have no way of knowing what actually is Pavol's problem. We can only speculate.
Trade Demitra? First of all, what team in contention could afford his salary without giving us a player of similar salary? AND would make the deal worthwhile, i.e., similar skill level?
Furthermore, if (and this is seeming to be a big if) Demitra and Gaborik are healthy, they are our dynamic duo. They are a seriously nasty package for other teams to try and deal with. With them kickin' ***, the Bouchard-Rolston-White line has an easier time racking up points.
So ... in summary ... Trade Demitra? Lay off the weed, dude
I love Forsberg and all, but he is injured way too much, even it is not his fault, fate is not on his side. He is a great player, BUT...great players don't contribute when they are on the sideline.
With that said, I also like Demitra, but he is not that young, the guy was born in 74 mate, he doesn't have much of a career left.
You are stuck in a dream it seems like, you are expecting them to rebound and have a great season, it probz won't happen mate, Demitra is on his last leg, same with Forseberg.
The guys are getting old, they need to get traded or retire. Demitra and Forseberg are both worthless if they continue to get injured at their ages. Best the GM's look at the young talent coming from over seas or college.

How old was Stevie Y when he retired and how old is Nick and Chelios?? Your team over there should talk having a 44 year old in net I love my two teams (grew up in MI as well as MN) but being born in '74 has nothing to do with it man.
You are comparing Nick, Chelios, Hasek, and now Stevie Y TO DEMITRA! LOL!
Not even in the same league. At least those guys at 30+ years old were healthy enough to play a season to make a difference(win the cup) Where as demitra...well you already know.
Your missing the point. The injuries will become more of a strain
to his "old" body.
