Sauer again. He's got Marc Staal upside but less likely to reach that FULL potential. But has the potential to still be better if his game translates better in the NHL (unlikely).
my continuing list is roughly (depending on time of day and phase of moon) with reasons...
Anisimov - like Sanger, high upside. 2nd, even possibly 1st line center.
Cally - closest NHL ready? most likely will only be a 3rd liner but hopefully of Kirk Maltby caliber.
Baranka - after the big 2, most likely to become an NHL d-man.
Pyatt - future 3rd line center with tons of heart
Girardi - doing everything right in the AHL and getting better. AHL all-star. Is he even on MSG's radar?
Cliche - doing well in junoirs. made team canada at WJC. still developing.
Dupont - still has a ways to go but shows improvement
Immonen - falling... needs to work on speed. still shows promise. might be higher but i have no confidence he'll be given the proper chance to succeed which is a shame.
This is where I like Ivan. After him 8 is Anisimov. 9 is Sauer. 10 is Dupont--closest thing we have to a skilled big forward with an edge. 11 is Pyatt. 12 is Cliche and 13 is Callahan. Add Byers. Russell will be after him.
What about Giardi screams top 10 prospect to you? I've seen about 10 Pack games this year and I've NEVER come away that impressed with his game. He reads career minor leaguer or bottom pairing d-man to me. Not nearly enough to rate him above a guy like Sauer.
Voted Pyatt...reminds me of Straka. Always skating hard, excellent defensive foward and his offensive numbers have been great now that he has some playmaking linemates.
voted for Callahan, add Byers. how Jessiman has more votes than Byers is odd. Byers has been doing better at the pro level than Jessiman has since his made his pro debut.

Not everyone is basing their vote on how a player does at the pro level. Most people are considering other things like potential, durability etc.... Jessiman may be getting some votes because he was a mid first round pick....
To me Jessiman with his demotion to Charlotte is freefalling on the list. I don't have him even in my top 20. Right now he has bust written all over him.
