He ought to have shot IMO -- but anything would have been better than nothing.

Still, great energy by the Habs and Huet looks on.

What an awesome start! Habs are really flying so far, or maybe the Sabres are feeling the effects of their road trip. Either way, the Habs are taking to them, hope they don't have a let down, but I have faith. Woooo

he was in prime position in the slot with a guy to shield the view of the goalie.

Saying Ryder shoot the puck...doesnt mean we hate him or what ever...it means in that situation he should have shot the puck. period.

Let's hope there thinking about the week off. They got in a 2:00 AM, hopefully if we keep skating, it will catch up to them in the 3rd period.

They are a pretty good skating team themselves!!

Koivu, Ryder and Higgins are still very disapointing to watch. No synchronisation at all and it's still excruciatingly painful to watch Ryder try to handle a puck.

I'm liking the energy we're showing. Johnson going in and finishing his check, good puck movement, it seems like we've got our legs back.

But it also helps that Buffalo are looking so out of sinc. Either way, we just need to keep it up.

agree... Ryder not 1st line material. He looked liek it for the first 10 games of the year, skating, passing, winning battles on the boards!

I'm at work and Sopcast online streaming of the game was choppy so I had to go back to listening to CJAD instead. Very frustrating.

Komisarek is getting on my nerves. He had such a great start and now he looks so nervous with the puck and always takes the bad decision.

What an awful turnover right after that great Kovy hit. Great move by Drury too, but man, we have to stop clearing the puck up the middle. Or at least be more careful with our passes.

Tripping on the Habs... unavoidable given the situation... Kovalev smokes the guy, did the puck bounce straight to Drury?

That was him then? I hope they bench him and continue the trend they started.

I dont know what's your problem....If higgins was in that spot and did the samething I would have said...Shoot the puck Higgins. Why are you so defensive?
And for the record...his instinct turned a good opportunity for a shot in to a turnover.
