I don't know why, but I'm giggling at the kids in the photo looking at Volchenkov.

When healthy this team has a ton of talent. I'm saying this watching vinny start to get his game back last night. It would seem that the ideal time to trade Hartnell is coming pretty soon. Riding his pt steak and all the time is now homer!

That pic of the Pronger and Richards (or Briere?) embrace is hilarious. It looks like a little kid hugging his dad. The hand on the back of the head, buried in his shoulder, just the two of them and the full body wrap with the arms. lirl

Hopefully Flyers get some breathing room in this one. 5-1 please

4-2 road trip finish is still very good, but I am so ready for a 5-1 finish. Go Flyers!

I am ready for a 5-1 trip as well. 20-10-4 since that dreadful start. By the 50 game mark I want that number to be 25-12-5 or around there. We keep climbing in the standings, I would like to see us get a little cushion now.

I wonder what this team could've done if Berube had a full training camp to implement his system change.

It doesn't appear that Matt Read is on the ice for today's practice. Tomorrow's skate is the bigger indicator, however.

Per Bill Meltzer (subject: Michael Raffl):
Quote:
Raffl on the ice, looking fine. If all goes well, he should return tomorrow.
Tim P. lists Raffl as "expected" to play.

Also, the Devils placed Patrik Elias on IR today. Eric Gelinas has been recalled.

Great music selection!!! Bruce's pants are ridiculous but it's still the Mighty Maiden so he gets a pass,
With Raffl and possibly Reader in for this game I like the boys chances better, but they did just have a gutsy come from behind win in Pho, here's to ending the road trip 5-1!!

As always, thank you MSE.

But I believe you mixed up the bios of Andy Greene. He's surely no 22-year-old with a 6'4" frame.

Nevertheless, great work.

As an outside fan, I can't say enough how happy I am to see Philly climb the standings. It'd be a treat to see you guys curbstomp the Pens again.. I still can't go more than a week without Youtubing clips from that series.

Keep it up.

Thanks. I fixed it. That is the info for Gelinas who was called up today. I put it in the wrong spot.

We shutout this team and limited them to shot totals in the teens with Ray Emery and a Meszaros-Gill pairing. Good times.

I wouldn't call Elias their best player. He's up there, but Gelinas is second in rookie D scoring and has been fantastic, Jagr was their best forward and leading scorer in pretty much every category for the first half (though he'll inevitably taper off in the second half), and Schneider has played excellently even though he's not getting any wins or goal support. Greene has also been rock steady for them from what I hear.

Get healthy soon, Elias.

Other than that guy is a long-time Flyers-killer, we better make use of his absence. They have lost 2 in a row. Play smart and forecheck hard and make it 3.

Go Flyers!

Hope Schneider is in goal, don't want the Flyers to go against Brodeur.

We've had a pretty succesful road trip and they lost some ground in the standings with 2 ugly losses. Perfect scenario for the old man to steal the show (again).

Mason has a 2-0 record (1.92 GAA) against the Canadiens and is 0-3 (3.68 GAA) versus the Devils in his career.

Emery looked much better against New Jersey with a career record of 6-4-2 (1.91 GAA) and 2 SO's.

I fully expect Emery to play in Newark.
