Then again, G-Unit may not be the best face to put on the whole Hip-hop culture but that's now what the whole Gui-unit movement is all about. It's about our homeboy Guidoune keepi'n it real yo.

Braaap.
Agreed. I don't really like rap culture and have never listened to a single G-Unit song. The Gui-Unit movement, however, is hilarious, original, and tons of fun. You should just take a step back and enjoy it for what it is and not let things bother you so much, life will be better that way.

No, I'm totally clueless since I'm in the Gui-Unit movement.

AARON DOWNEY BRINGS 10 POUNDS OF POTATOES EVERY YEAR...HEEEELLLOOO

The Gui-Unit movement isn't about Rap, if you're a punk lover than you can call it the GuiReen Day, if you're a grundge lover call it the Guirvana, if you like metal call it Guitallica etc etc etc. You get it? It's only a funny wordplay.

I'm a little sad no one liked (or read) the verse, since it's one of the most well known rap songs in history.. and that I've only changed 9 or 10 words in it, and that it applies very well to Lats. But knowing most of you guys are more into Alternative/metal music, I understand..

I read it the first time around . Though, i don't know the song and if I hadn't known better, I would've guessed you had written the whole thing to boot.

Brilliant quote man. although I said earlier that I don't like rap, I do respect the music. I'm a rock/alternative fan and don't like simple plan either. So it's true that each person have it's taste in music and I respect them.
But this isn't about music at all it's bout having fun and talking about a little guy (2x bigger than me) who's a good local hockey player.

Respect the Gui-Unit Respect

I'm just a fan of anything that's real...whether it's hip hop, alternative, country, funk, soul, reggae, etc, it doesn't matter, as long as the artist has a message that differs from the usual crap that's force fed to us via the media, i'll listen to it. I'm primarily a fan of hip hop/r&b/reggae, but in my IPOD i've got everything from Snoop to Curtis Mayfield, from Nirvana to Bootsy Collins, from Earth Wind and Fire to The Strokes. I refused to be labelled...

I must admit though, this whole Gui-Unit thing is quite funny...some hilarious quotes in this thread

I was reading the thread listening to the song, and the words sort of matched the vibe of Gui-Unit thread, and thought it would be funny to do some sampling.. I guess you need to know the song to really appreciate the parody. Anyways, cheers.

Oh man that would be great. I don't know if they could do it because of copyright stuff, but Tees would be awesome. I'd sport one.

And Kanye has to post the beat he promised us. That would be great.

If Pleks, Kovy and Latendresse are in the Gui-Unit...
Latendresse could be 84 cents, Plekanec could be Lloyd Pleks( instead of Lloyd Banks), but i don't know who's the third guy in G-Unit.
