Hey guys its all good because MB today said he is happy with the way the team has performed up to this point of the NHL season! WTF is MB blind? any one with half a pea brain can see that we have sucked on most nights and if not for Price we are dead last in the NHL. How as a hockey mind like MB are you happy with this team? blows me away

The fact you can't stand him is why he's so great.

What I HATE about Therrien is the freaking PP. I mean, man, YOU KNOW THAT THE USUAL SUSPECTS DON'T WORK (I.E. Gionta for one), WHY DO YOU KEEP ON PLAYING THEM TABARNAC!?!?!

It's been done many times, to humiliate the players, letting them know that 'hey, you came here to play like *******, I'll let you lose'. It's been done by every coach, including Scotty in Montreal.

I saw a team that could care less tonight. So the coach told them 'f-off'. It's pretty easy to understand.

Don't understand the PK benching, though. I'm guessing it's because of the bad penalty. I don't know. I would have benched Pacioretty who was baaaaaad.
Deandebean, it's both acts together that makes it stupid. And anyway, I'll let you lose? Really? When this team or even any team, you see them not work for 58 minutes, then you remove a goalie, get a lucky goal and then tie it.....Sorry, but the day my coach tells me "**** it" it means I could do it too. It's a loser mentality. Can't be good for a team.

I could deal with Groulx too though, I didn't like the latest, I want to go home now. If you want to solely be a junior coach, so be it. I want some coaches only want to be NCAA coach....but the idea is that if we want to give him the job, would be neat to know how he handles pros. He could be the next Julien. Or could be the next flop. Right now, I'd clearly go with Boucher. And have Houle coach my AHL team.

Damphousse is spot on about MT breaking up Markov-Subban pairing

Carbonneau criticized the swarm strategy.

Relax. Take a deep breath... I know tonight was rough.

I'm not cutting up Boucher. I'm simply stating my concerns about him becoming our next coach. I don't want to see a stifling defensive system here and I think that's what would happen if we hired him. I don't hate the guy, I'm not dead set against him... I just think that he's more of what we've seen for a while now... trapping grinding strategy for a team that's not built for it.

This times ten. Goaltending has made all the difference in Tampa's confidence this season with Bishop in net.

Terrible. The goalies and Subban are masking the major problems on this team. There are too many to count, from a lack of scoring to not enough skill and size. Bergevin has one more off-season to right the ship.

Which means that when there is a great candidate, and you are proactive and clairvoyant enough to see that the present coach will not be better....you have to JUMP on the great guy that is available. For a total different reason, but for the reason I just named, Bergevin needs to do a Lamorielle and replace the coach even if we have a winning season. He won't do it 'cause Bergevin is as soft and passive as Tomas Kaberle, but that's what he should be doing.
He won't do it because he knows the team is over-performing this season. Bergevin acknowledged again this week by his comments that he believes this team is not as good as its record indicates. So he will keep the 'transition' coach there.

Reading comprehension issues? DD is averaging roughly 2 points more per 60 minutes of PP time than Gionta.

Try again.

Gaston didn't know who Pacioretty and McDonagh were, back in 2007.
Gaston also confused Galchenyuk for, not only being Russian, but being a part of the Russian junior squad.

Gaston also picks his nose and eats his boogers.

Carter played 16 games that year with 6 goals. Let's pretend he scores 30 goals in a full season, it puts LA around 14th.

Markov and Subban paired up

20-10-3

1.97 GAA/game

Markov anmd Subban seperated

4-3-2

3.33 GAA/game

To be honest, I think this has more to with Price and Budaj not playing as well as the beginning of the season
