Souray needed someone to pass him the puck from the slot. I would like to see how fast he shoots it then. Remember his PP goals tend to be on one timers and they are faster than at a dead puck slap shot.

Shooting is Souray's weak skill. The coach should of used him in the speed skating

I was saying around 100mph wich I was right.

Sheldon Souray biggest shot isnt when the puck is dead on the ice, he's a lot better in One-Timer wich he can clock over 105-10 mph easily.

He made a 102.2 one back in 2003-2004 and his slapshot seems harder this year. I'm sure he is capable of hitting 103+

It was a joke,, In NHL 07 and 06 every time you take a slap shot it registers at 120 MPH which I always find hilarious as it is absolutely rediculous. Obviously no one can shoot that hard.

Well, yes it's totally possible. In games conditions players are shooting the puck harder than we've seen tonight. Most players don't really like to shoot the puck the way they did tonight. Also, the radar is mounted on the lowest part of the net, thus it reads faster speeds for low shots and doesn't do justice to higher shots that sometimes have more velocity (see pythagore...).
