I think it's time we bring back the good karma thread. It worked wonders during the playoffs....let's see if it will help us out now. Starting tomorrow, i'm going to be nice to EVERYONE!

Who's with me here?

I will swear randomly at people who don't honk and cheer when they see my Oiler car flag.

Maybe we should try being ridiculously positive about the Oilers too? You just never know. I'll start, even though our defence is slightly struggling it has been nice to get to know so many of the AHL players.

My boss said that i am over paid. And here is the list of reasons why:

Out of 8 hrs a day that i supposed to work:

30 mins break
3 hours on HF BOARDS site
1 hour on Other hockey related links
1 hour flirting with other women at work
30 mins conference calls with company related meetings
and that leaves 2 hrs of actual work.

You actually get a full 2 hours of work in there?

I'd be asking him for a raise.

As for the thread, I saw someone while writing my math finals looking really strung out, so I made eye contact with them, and shoved my answers in their line of view. The good karma could be tainted by the fact that I wasn't doing so hot on the test and Math is my worst subject - but hey, until they get the test scores they'll be happy. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

I like that idea too, so i'll add to it.

Even though the oilers are last in the NW division, there is a mere 6 points seperating and #1. A few trades/signings and this team will soar into the playoffs and bring home the cup!
