It was a really bad giveaway, but Streit was back to cover for it and the team in general wasn't far behind. Mason probably makes the save as long as there isn't a close-up and wicked deflection off Streit's stick.

Doesn't excuse Grossmann, but it's more bad luck then anything since mistakes are expected it's just a matter of whether or not they can cover for the mistake. Which they did really.

Seven minutes into the game, boys. Time to wake up; you're not on Pacific Time.

That's a tough save to make. Guy is shooting glove side and Streit makes a perfect deflection back across the net. A save that is makeable, but not nearly as easy as it appears on first glance.

What an abysmal call. He literally dropped the stick.

Grossmann never should have made that pass given where Streit was on the ice. Streit's scrambled recovery was directly responsible for how he was positioned between Killorn and the net.

Good kill.

I still resent how easy a backup made the save look. Reminiscent of the Pete Peeters Plunk, almost.

That felt like the slowest breakaway ever.

Great shift by McGinn leading to that breakaway.

I like McGinn, I'd be interested in what he could once he gets a spot on the club.

Early Tampa Bay goal off a Grossmann flub.

Flyers' successful PK.

Now a Flyers' PECO.
