YES!!! Another major milestone. The great thing is Anaheim lost tonight allowing us at least a full day on top of the NHL!

This for me ranks right there with the first time we beat the Blues in our building (year 1) and first playoff victory against the Wings! Awesome job by our guys to bring it on such a consistent basis and once again on the back end of a back-to-back.

to Poile to Trotz and staff as well.

Whether this only lasts one day or much much longer, I'm celebrating 1st place!!!

That was great! This team has been built the right way, and they have worked so hard for first place, too.

Congratulations to the Preds for being the BEST TEAM IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE!!!!!

Is hockey marketed in Nashville? I went out there last spring on business and bought tickets to a round one playoff game an hour before game time at the box office. I was expecting to be turned away. I was really pulling for Nashville last season and thought it was unfortunate you lost Vokoun before the playoffs. I really think Nashville has the best chance of coming out of the west to meet Buffalo in the finals. What a great series that would be. I sure hope your locals would show up for that!

I fear the same thing. Not selling out playoff games is just absurd to me and if we have trouble with that again, I wouldn't blame Craig one bit it he tried to find a way to get out of his contract with the GEC. That being said, I am glad we are on top of the NHL. It has been a long wait, but it has been worth it. Now we just need a deep run into the playoffs for me to be happy about the season.

Nope - their marketing department LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED. They couldn't sell their way out of a paper bag.

Something I noticed when clicking that link - The blues are have won 11 of their last 17 games. 4 of their losses in that 17 game span were delivered to them by the Predators.

Our stint at the top looks short-lived, as the Canucks chose to start Sabourin vs the Sabres, for some reason
