2 big points! great def. great plays... so many close calls. MT has been doing a good job. the past games have been hard to watch... but we have the playoffs in lock. if we keep our def.play the way we played today... **** would look good for 2-3 teams

It was almost like he was going to do some crazy over-the-top Subban-esque celebration before he remembered he was Andrei Markov.

Wow....that was some MAJOR OT fail by Seabrook. If Team Canada is watching....that OT makes them confortable with their decision...

Great job Habs. If you could only be consistent....

Plekanec isn't perfect, but he outplayed Toews and Crosby this year, which tells you all you need to know of his value.

He was going for a Brière celebration and then, yep, wonder what he was doing....

But it's performances like that that make me dream as a fan about the Stanley Cup, hopefully this is a turning point in the season.

I'm sure Plekanec told himself they were winning this game tonight and that they didn't take the best team in the league to OT to lose. And he made it happen.

For the first time, he crossed that line between solid player to STAR PLAYER.

Sure he seems slower and gets caught a lot... But he's also our 2nd best defenseman... Arguably our best.

Would love to see him retire a Hab
I agree with you but on the other hand, what if someone offers a Forsberg for Erat type offer (obviously in this case the return would be more than Forsberg)?

I don't care how they play in the regular season. They just need to bring it in the playoffs.

Yeah, I can't believe half of the guys around here want to trade Plekanec and Markov for picks and unproven prospects.

Markov played his best game of the season... WOW

Plekanec was insane especially on the last shift.

Gallagher is not much of a threat lately. Really struggling. He's probably carrying some injury.

Not really anything to complain about this game. Aside from maybe Gionta should have been a little bit more aggressive with lifting Hossa's stick.
