We just beat the defending champs... That means we are now Stanley cup favorites right?

No but in all seriousness what a great game, too bad we don't get this effort out there every game. Moen was great tonight he sometimes gets overlooked. Speed was the name of the game tonight, what a back and forth game, almost like we matched speed and skill both with the Hawks tonight. Could have very easily been a 3-1 or 4-1 Habs win tonight, props to Crawford for some great saves. Hopefully we can keep momentum going and really solidify a spot as an upper level team in the East. Trades coming though so we need to brace ourselves, a favorite or two could be out the door.

All you guys who wanted the team to lose and said they didn't enjoy watching the Habs anymore...Suck on this!

Awesome team win tonight. My cat wasn't very happy though when that puck went in it OT I think it's still hiding under a couch somewhere.

Gotta get the powerplay going though...

Oh and is Emelin back? He was awesome tonight.

This is how the Habs played -- and still can play -- when the opposition isn't focused on plowing us into the boards.

Brent Seabrook was the megafail in OT tonight. What an awful shift. And Kane changing while the play was in their zone. Hawks failed, we benefited from it, fine with me.

Crazy how every player played awesome.

Plekanec was just amazing. First shift of the game you knew he'd be superstar level. Plekanec of 2008.

That shift where he outworked Keith, Toews and Seabrook... Pretty good I'd say.

Plekanec had 11 of the 38 shots, second best was Gionta, with 4.

I noticed too! Introvert is introverted. Makes me think of myself. You feel the urge to do something spontaneous but your brain reminds you it's doesnt't fit with your usual behavior.

Plus that sequence when Plekanec forced Chicago to kill off our PK. What a game...!

Wasn't able to get on HF while watching because I was at my grandma's house but...

WOW! The whole team played great. The defense was solid, their transition was good, they used their speed to win battles, and Therrien actually made a few mid-game changes.

Plek, Markov, Gallagher were amazing tonight.
Great game by Emelin, Prust, Bourni, Eller, Moen, Price, etc.

Hell, even Parros looked good.

True. Top 3 in shifts all year long from a Habs player. And then you consider the opposition and it might very well be THE best shift of the entire season for a Habs.

Would be great to see him in a big offensive line....

The whole team was ready tonight and came to play. But yeah Plecky and Markov were what we call dominant.

Show of hands, gang:

How many think Therrien takes all the credit for Markov's goal tonight?
