That's also a good point.

Between that fact and the horrible start being 22nd in the league is actually impressive to me.

Probably a good idea you quit then. Between all that and the glue in the eye story while getting treated in a hostel I get the sense that you get hurt as much as Lecavalier.

My older brother was a skateboarder. He's kind of a ****** though.

True, but like you said that's not the whole problem. His natural position is center...but he's not good defensively or at face-offs and we have too many centers ahead of him in importance. He can score 60 points on the wing if healthy...but he can't stay healthy, he's not good defensively still, and he doesn't fit well on certain lines.

He's also going to be 39 by the end of this contract. I'm not worried about this season with Lecavalier as I am five years from now.
My biggest problem is I have always downplayed injuries... like I will say I am fine as I have no clue if I am badly hurt or not, I have no gauge on how painful something actually is. That and hospital gets in the way of life! The other year had flights booked for Rome with some friends and got hit by a car the day before (only glanced while on a bike, landed on both elbows and face... but knew if I went to hospital they would keep me in and I could not go to Rome!)

Came back and it turned out I had two broken elbows that would have been easy to sort if I had gone straight away... but instead ended up having months of trouble!

Most skaters I have met are either dicks or really laid back, cool guys, there seemingly is little middle ground!

Another example of why Berube is a bad coach.

They've been holding and interfering since I started watching, glad to see it's finally called.

Most of the skaters I knew in high school were the skinny jeans type if you know what I mean. That's a newer trend for high school youth so I don't know how old you are. My older brother was just a pretentious ****** though.

Broken elbows? Yeowch.

That's GF/60. Their scoring rates at ES are low.

http://www.extraskater.com/teams/on-...t=ev&type=rate

They are also 18th in GD/60, which is not that inspiring with a PDO at dead-even 1000. They depend too much on special teams.

It's a rate stat, not a total, so the point isn't valid.

I went through both skater fashion phases! Baggy stuff/shorts and sweaters and high tops when I was like 9-13 and then jeans and hoodies and slip ons when I was 14-17 (when I quit... though I must say I wore tightish elasticated stretch jeans over the last few years... mainly so they would not get in the way, but not really skinny persay.) I am close to 23 now.

Yeh, the elbows are annoying, floating bone in both still, usually fine but every now and then I lean on something and it hurts like hell.

I don't even know what a floating bone is but it sounds unnatural and painful.

I'm turning 23 in February.

yeah hes been full Rtard mode all game..

at one point he lazily skated towards the bench for a shift change and held up a zone exit by our team, and made ZERO effort to get out of the way until the forward actualy ended up bumping directly into him and thus killing the exit.
