Cheese Steaks and Hockey

Im going down the turnpike for tomorrow afternoon's game at Wachovia Center . Should I wear my Jersey or should I be incognito? Just want some input from those who have been. Will my brother and I get a beer shower if we have our jersey's on? Id imagine they would be more subdued since they have a subpar record to say the least. Thanks in advance for the imput guys.

I went a few months ago to a game down there..my two friends and I wore jerseys and we were all pretty loud and annoying. We had plenty of trailer trash telling us they would kick our *****..but they were all talk. Wear your jersey. Just hope we win.

Yeah a friend of mine has gone to a couple down there and is going to be on hand tomorrow as well. He said it's gotten more rowdy since the beginning of the season...Do us proud. Don't get shot

Wear the jersey but I wouldn't rule out a beer shower.

I wore my jersey the one time I went there and had no problems.

Actually, I sat next to these two elderly ladies (one in a LeClair USA jersey) and was so well-behaved (I can't swear next to old ladies!) that I think I ruined their evening. I think they were planning on having fun cursing out the Rangers all night, but felt they had to set a good example!

Incidentally, I hate the Flyers, but there were a TONNE of extremely hot girls wearing orange jerseys at the game I went to. I almost converted!

Wear the jersey. I'm going to the game as well and I'm going in my blue Lundqvist jersey.

Yeah you will probably get some Flyers fans talking smack to you, but I can just about guarantee you nobody will give you a beer shower.

I saw the Rangers play the Flyers at the hideous Spectrum back in 1996 and the Rangers won 4-0 (it was great, they lit up Hextall, Messier scored 40 seconds in..good times) and alot of people talked crap to me but even as rowdy as that place got, nobody threw anything at me.

And I also saw the Rangers play the Flyers on Valentines Day in 2004 when we were in the midst of the Great Fire Sale. Actually, it was Fedor Tyutin's first game. My friend and I just spent the entire game ranting about how much we sucked and we actually made alot of friends with the hometown fans...of course it helped that the Flyers were winning 6-1 and on their way to a division title while we were in the basement just ahead of the Isles.

2001 I took my 2 year old to the Sh@@ hole in Phillie. She was wearing her Barnaby jersey and was booed and yelled at which was funny till a ice cold bud was showered on to us. The most classless fan in the league.

You're a big guy Cartman, those Philly fans will be scared of you. Wear the jersey.

i am rangers fan born and raised in philly, and i can tell you nothing will probably happen, all those stories you hear of fans getting their ass beat etc. hasent happen since like the early 90s when they where still in the spectrum.

i actually find myself more annoyed with the people who like to throw stuff out of their boxes in MSG these days, lot more abnoxious then anything ive experienced on south broadstreet thats for damn sure.

For any future games, don't worry. At $8 a pop, beer is the last thing you'll get thrown at you.
