Mason's save percentage is in a downward spiral, it was 91.8% heading into the game.

Gutsy win.

Not really happy with the defensive effort against the worst team in the league though...

Happy they can still come from behind.

1st and 2nd lines were really good.

3rd line was good when Raffl replaced Vinny

Vinny was bad but at least he scored when we really needed it.

Hartnell was also bad and scored a pretty nice goal.

Steve Ott is a piece of **** the only thing worse than being as bad as Buffalo is having that guy as your captain.

Mason and Emery are both playing horrible for the last month and a half.

Mez playing instead of Gus is hilariously stupid.

Berube is still a terrible coach.

He faced 19 shots tonight, a big save would be nice here & there.

I bet Buff had single digit chances, just scored on most of them.

Offense was definitely there... but ******* is Mez awful. Mason wasn't bad, but could of been better. Our D really needs help right now.

This right here is another example of people saying stupid things to be dramatic. They weren't outplayed all game, you're seeing what you want to see to enable complaining. The problem was that the defense is horrible and the few times that the puck was out of the offensive zone they had trouble getting it out of theirs because they are slow and make bad decisions.

Gus left his man wide open on that third goal though, Berube needs to hold Gus accountable.

I'd have to look over the goals against tonight to see how much of it was his fault, but he's definitely much worse then he started off the season as.

The thing with a starting goalie in the NHL is that you expect them to come up with big saves when needed a lot of the time and you should feel comfortable putting that faith into your starter. For instance, with that third goal against Meszaros was awful, but it was a very savable shot and a shot you expect a legitimate NHL starter to be able to save most of the time.

Mason has been pretty shaky for a long while now in terms of this season. It's not inspiring considering his history before coming here and how he had a Calder season in Columbus then basically imploded.

When your agent compares you to Carey Price, he should be held to his standards.

Obvious question: Is Mason being overworked? TSN says he is on pace to play 61 games this year, and has played 34 to date (don't know if that includes tonight or not). 61 will tie his season record, set back during his rookie year.

First two I blame the D, third was soft.

Silver lining is his agent's dreams of a Price or Bob style contract are pretty much dead. If he only has a .910 - .915 SV% then he'll only be looking at $3m per year.

L Schenn was also really bad. That third pair is a disaster.
