I feel like everyone, including myself, underestimated San Fran.

They could pull out a win in Seattle IMO.

Giants hire Ben McAdoo as OC.

Thank ****ing God it wasn't Sullivan. Finally. A breath of fresh air.

Here’s how Ben McAdoo described his offensive system/plans: “We’re going to be an up-tempo, attacking-style offense.” #NYG

What is this uptempo thing?

Sounds like they're going to be Joe Philbin's Dolphins.

Love the McAdoo hiring.

I'm very intrigued to see Eli in a new offense.

I and and a lot of other people were wrong on that. You should know by now (minus the snark) that, unlike most on here, I am never one to reject a plate of crow. Never have been and never will be.

I still hope to see the Giants draft a RT and push him to guard, but that's another debate.

Although, with that said, you're way late to the party on this and I suggest you keep up next time.

Philbin was there with McAdoo. The whole "uptempo" stuff is exactly how Philbin was sold in Miami. I have no idea why people are so enamored with the Packers staff over the years. Rodgers might be the most talented qb that's ever played and they don't get enough out of him.

if we're going to be that kind of uptempo attacking offense, Reese better get him the personnel..

He stole that from Alain Vigneault.

They have most of it already.

They need interior OL, a TE, and some better depth at HB

Looks like Coughlin fired Ingram (RB coach) and Pope (TE coach). Revamping the entire offensive staff, I like it.

I still think we can use another WR when we lose Nicks.. I liked what I saw from JJ but it was a small sample, I like Randle though and we have Cruz obviously.

I don't really get firing Pope.

Myers has been the only bad TE we've had and that's mostly because he's a bad player. Before that, Popes tenure has seen us have alright production from TE even if the TE himself wasn't that good.

Clearly not, if Fewell and Quinn (somehow) are still here.

I understand "overhauling the offense" but Pope was a good coach.

Kiper had Jets selecting Lee at 18. Suggested 7 WR's taken in the 1st round..

That's a lot, don't remember that many being taken in any particular first round in recent memory.

If Evans is off the board at 18 I say you go with Ebron/Amaro and then trade the 2nd and a 3rd to get back into the tail end of the 1st and draft Kelvim Benjamin.

Theirs no was Ebron makes in down to 19... He's a physical beast that is quick and big reminds me of Vernon Davis

Coughlin wanted new blood on the Off staff. Hoping to "light a fire" was the reasoning.

Personally I think they fired the 2 veteran position coaches to ensure everyone got on page w/ McAdoo & they weren't *****ing to their position coaches about "how it used to be".

The fact that Quinn is still on staff is a travesty though.

The reports are that Rex's deal is heavily incentivized--tied to the team's performance, maybe even postseason wins. He's betting on himself. I love it. Rex has toned it down (rightfully so), but he's still supremely confident. Sets a nice example for the team, too. He's always been a "players' coach," and this is in that vein.
