Some of these proposals are ridiculous.

Ladd, Kane, Bogosian, etc. aren't being moved.

It'll probably be something similar to the Bernier deal - two B level prospects or picks for a young goalie with starter potential (ex. Lack).

Alright, since Winnipeg probably wouldn't want to carry 3 goalies, especially since with Ward & Pavelec, their goalies cap number would be over $10 million. What about this; Cam Ward, Jiri Tlusty, Brett Sutter and a conditional 2014 2nd Round Pick for Andrew Ladd, Ondrej Pavelec and the rights to Alexander Burmistrov?

The Canes could have a goalie tandam of Anton Khudobin & Pavelec, Ladd would fill a top 6 left wing position and Burmistrov would be a solid add if he comes back to the NHL. The Jets get Ward, who can be a very good goalie, just needs to get his confidence back, Tlusty should be a 2nd line winger, Sutter could fill in on the 4th line and the 2nd round pick is dependent on the Canes making the playoffs (it would become a 3rd if the Canes miss out again.

Nope... we'll just give him an offer sheet for $3.4 x 3 in the off-season and see if the Leafs match.

Personally, I don't think that the Jets should pay much for a goalie right now unless it is a franchise type. There are too many examples of unheralded goalies coming out of the woodwork and playing lights-out. The Jets already have a 23-year old AHL goalie with a .922 SV%. I'm not convinced that he can't perform as well as Reimer in the NHL.

In 2010-2011 he was 12th in save percentage, in 2012-2013 he was 8th, and this season he's 18th and better than such stalwarts as Quick, Howard, Niemi, Halak, Hiller, Smith, Crawford, Holtby.

He's a starter quality goalie who hasn't gotten his due.
Good. So you have two starters. Enjoy. Let's see if the Leafs re-sign Reimer to anything close to a #1 G salary.

I wouldn't be so sure. We could offer that Wpg will retain the rights to swap first round picks in either 2014 or 2015.

I think it's safe to say Bobby Lou and his contract are staying out unless amnesty is invoked.

1/10.

100% agree. Jets are not going out to get any big name goalie, they may grab a younger goalie with potential (or maybe a older vet at low price & salary). None of our key forwards or D-men (including Buff) are being traded for a big name goalie.
