I hope Mez plays for the rest of the season and sign him to a new contract. If Mason did his job and got a shut out every night, he would not make Mez look bad.

Maybe Nashville will just leave Shea Weber here accidentally.

Going to the game with my dad and brother. First game I've gotten to in over a year. Hopefully Mez is out, Gus is in, and the Flyers win.

i honestly have no idea what to expect..

this could be an absolute treat of a game or a total gongshow.

lets just try to play like a NHL team and not give up a lead after every goal we score ok ???

Downie & Gus need to come back to the lineup. Get that 3rd line moving again. Put Vinny on the top line, put Raffl on the 4th w/ Hall and Vandevelde.

I think you get a pretty good 1-12 there

God knows though that we need defensemen with some offensive ability. He should play for now - his negative form is exaggerated on here - and if things are good we can investigate the possibility of re-signing him for cheap in the summer. He's not far removed from long-term injury and may still improve quite a bit. People complain about the shortsightedness of the Flyers, but what, then, is this?

It's been addressed as to why you can't put Vinny on the top line. He's not going to play Left Wing. Downie scratched 2 games in a row was a bit of a head scratcher too. I get the 1 game for sure though.

I only say that because Vinny isn't going to go to the 4th line.

So do you break up Line 2 and Line 1?

Hartnell has improved of late. Put him back with G and put Vinny at Center on the 2nd line with Schenn and Simmonds on his wings. Raffl to 4th line.

Dear god I hope I'm just missing the joke or sarcasm here. You couldn't possibly be saying that Mez needs someone else to make him look bad.

Guess who is in Glenn Falls for work instead until Friday? Maybe I'll go get tickets to the ADK game tonight and cry.

I'm sure one of the nice fellows around here could keep her some company down at the Wells Fargo tomorrow.

Can Nashville maybe get their new goalie Devan Dubnyk ready to play tomorrow?

Update on Nashville's goalie situation as it pertains to this game:

Quote:
The Predators left Wednesday for Philadelphia, where they will play the Flyers on Thursday. It was unclear if Dubnyk would be available, but Carter Hutton and Marek Mazanec, who have filled in for Rinne, will be on the roster for Thursday’s game.

Poile said one of the goalies would be sent to the American Hockey League Milwaukee Admirals after the Predators return from Philadelphia on Friday morning.

We'll probably get Mazanec again. And he'll probably look pretty good, as that's par for the course for backups in this league against the Flyers.

Hopefully the Flyers can prove me wrong and have an easier time in putting pucks in the back of the net.
