Nystrom way better to keep than Hendricks. Glad Poile made the correct move.

Nystrom, your boy, tied it up.

Almost gave up another but Hutton made the stop. Score a goal, give a goal averted.

Nystrom with the nice redirect there to tie it. I wish we could be woke up at the beginning and not allow a goal in the first 2 min. Almost happened again with a goal after a goal but nice save by Hutton.

So that is what can happen when you work the puck in the offensive zone!! And then Hutton makes a point blank save twice!! We are lucky this game is still tied.

Legwand's trade value increases!! I seriously thought we might do nothing from the 5 on 3 with all the passbacks at the point.

When it gives the team a 5 on 3, it's a good thing to do nothing. Pick your battles.

Beauty saucer dish from Fisher.

Legwand scores. Officially a 5 on 4 but Giroux wasn't really back yet. Great pass by Fisher there. Glad we scored on that one or would have screamed.

Bad start but it ended well. Hutton really came through with some good saves after their 1st goal as we could have been in deep trouble. He's playing to stay in the NHL tonight. Maybe we'll win one after not scoring first tonight.

Based on the stats over their last ten starts and the fact Maz is on the first year of his ELC, I'd bet he gets playing time in Milwaukee and Hutton is on the FA market come the end of the season at the latest.

Hutton with a mistake and then makes a miraculous save. Legwand with the penalty that probably saved a goal

Bingo! He can play on the second line in Milwaukee and get a bunch a minutes on the PP. Or he can play the third line in Nashville and sit out every third game. Better development chances in Milwaukee.

Where he needs to work on his game is at ES ... offensively and defensively. He had a great game on the PP but still ended up a -1 ... on the ice for far too many ES goals allowed in both the NHL and AHL and a disturbing number of SH goals while in Milwaukee.

Maybe the new goalie the Preds got in that trade has lite a fire under Hutton to not lose his job. Whatever it is he is playing alot better in this game so far.

When did Carter Hutton channel Pekka Rinne? A man who doesn't want to be a career AHL player trying to prove he belongs in the NHL. I think our PK is better without Hendricks.

Forsberg in 9 AHL games has 5 G (4 PPG) 7 A for 12 points and is even on +/-.
