brett tends to speak without fully thinking things thru lol

we'd be a MUCH better team with a #2 center there is no question about that, but we'd still have a ton of holes and problems. and forsberg is hurt 1/2 the time so not sure how he makes us a cup contender when he isn't playing.

I had nightmares that NYR traded all the youth (Staal, Dubinsky, Montoya, Callahan, Baranka & Korpiskoski!!!) and came away with Forsberg, Brewer, Rucinsky, A.Miller & Guerin.... Yikes!

If im not mistaken, only Straka and Nylander are on pace to have similar, or better years.

Renneys been given a TON more that other coaches, and has performed pitifully.
A ton more? What is he going to do if Hall cant score? Cullen cant score? Our tweam ahs probably the wordt depth or one of. But off-course a 2nd line center solves that.

I love how the Rangers become cup contenders with a player who can barely get around the ice on one good foot. You can't make it up

his team is clearly not a contender with or without Foppa. The defense is less than adequate. Trading for an injury proned star on the downhill side of his career smacks of old time Ranger strategy. I would not give up any decent prospect nor a first or second rounder. Let's trade Malik, play Pock and Girardi and Tyutin and see if Staal and Baranka make the team next year. Wow, a potentially young defense to take us into the next decade! Perhaps I will have reason to become excited
