No comment on Read because I don't know too much about him, but Grabner is our best Pk'er and behind Nielsen, probably our best defensive forward. Grabs hasn't been the offensive force he's been in the past, but he is a valuable part of the line-up because of his defensive play. Think you may be understating his defensive ability. The little I know about Read, its hard to imagine he's more valuable than Grabs defensively but I'm not in a position to say anything definitively because as I said, don't see him enough.

Same story as the last X amount of games now. D is weak and lets a chance in on net, goalie is weak and can't be fully blamed yet also could have done much better.

how many of the eight shorthanded goals have been Voracek's fault?

That was brutal.

Terrible coverage by Giroux and Kimmo. Jake was weak on the back check, too.

This team tries to force obvious set plays more than any other team in the league.

Yeah. This team actually isn't good. The standings lie. They're capable of coming back suddenly, but other than that-- team is fraud. Soft, slow, stupid, with a strange ability to score enough to win. They are a less dysfunctional Washington Redskins.

Watch any other strong team in the league and it's night and day (like Boston).

Streit even said in an interview yesterday that the PP was better away as they just shot more instead of tried perfect plays.

Why dont they take their own advice. Especially with Hartnell and Simmonds infront.

I remember one season not too long ago we had a potent PP that only let in one SH goal all season and it was on the last game of the season. Good times.

How is it possible to be almost the worst PP team in the league at home and almost the best on the road? Makes zero sense.
