Kris Versteeg is playing on the 3rd line in Chicago and I don't see anyone calling them a soft ass team. Deep offensive teams often have a guy like that playing on a 3rd line making them even more of a threat to score with great balance on 3 lines and not just 2.
Brad Boyes has earned to be resigned not only because he can play on the 1st line with Barkov but his "VALUE" in the shootouts where he is probably worth 5-6 wins alone there. This makes him quite valuable in my book and I think he could be brought back at a fair price and why not he play on the 3rd line if we get a top goal scoring free agent?
I rather have Boyes any day on my 3rd line than Kopeckys at less the price.
As would everyone else on this forum not named vendetta.
