To be fair there's no way in hell Bonino would put up those numbers under Sutter.

I had the exact same feeling, somehow I am sad that either team lost because it was such a great game, it really had a playoff feel, despite the Ducks commentators repeating it the whole time .

Fistric was a beast in this game. Don't remember who it was agaisnt, but the counter hit he threw was a beauty.

Getzlaf must be in the top three for the MVP this season if he continues to play this way.

Love how Boudreau is switching the lineup depending who we play against and I really think the rotation of depth is a great motivator.

If the Ducks are going to play their game for 60 minutes I do not care who will we play against in the playoffs.

Probably not. But it's also posted for the folks who think Bonino isn't a 2C. He's actually the best 2C we've had since before McDonald was traded, when he's actually playing in that slot.

It was Reaves, and he was pissed.

I wonder how he has an explanation for why the Ducks have 12 players with >50% offensive zone starts while the possession driven Sharks only have 6.

Had that discussion with the Chicago guy on the Getzlaf/Toews poll.

His reason for zone starts are "Because our possession is so dominate, we are hardly in our own zone, most plays end in the offensive zone."

Which is the exact opposite of where San Jose starts most of the time, although I believe these are only "close" numbers, which ignore a huge percentage of games for teams with a large goal differential one way or the other.

Don't even try to argue with that guy. His mind is in a special place.

Just re-watched the St. Louis game. Can we trade announcers with them, I will throw in Sbisa They are great unbiased announcers.

One of my favorite plays of the game....

Lindholm protects the puck, makes a perfect pass off the boards, reads the play perfectly and joins the rush, gets a good attempt off a bouncing puck he hits out of mid air. The potential with this kid.

The only way he's a trade option is if Hiller is resigned, which IMO is pretty unlikely. Once (if) Fasth is healthy Andersen will go back to Norfolk for the rest of the year, most likely.
