He'll be right back up. It was only because we weren't sure if Timonen could go tonight, so to make room for Lehtonen, we sent down the only player that couldn't be snagged off waivers. As soon as Lehtonen goes back down, Radulov comes back up.

It's a non-story.

Yeah, tomorrow's transactions will include Rads being recalled. He never boarded a plane this was just to shuffle some players.

He did play. And interestingly enough, Pekka Rinne was named second star in the win with 32 saves in a 3-2 winning effort.

the actual rule here is funny though... the team has to buy an airline ticket for a guy sent back down and file the receipt thru the league office (as proof and to make the team go ahead and spend the money), but that is as far as the rule goes, a team could simply buy the ticket if it so desired and the player never actually get on the plane but stay in the home city and wait to be re-activated.. (the minor league team however has to pick up and carry the guy on their roster and meet their minor league player requirements for roster size however)

handtrick and i laughed with terry crisp about it last year when he told a story of this very thing happening over drinks.. i believe he said it happened to him once

I couldn't open up the link. Is Radulov back playing in Colorado tonight, or is he staying with the Admirals for some much needed top line minutes?

It was a numbers move, since we needed to bring up a defenseman. Radulov is back with the team, and probably in the lineup. Upshall is back, so they may want to give him some ice time...probably Radz, though.

Radulov likely coming back today

ST. LOUIS — Nashville forward Alexander Radulov, who was sent to play with the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday morning because of other Predators' illnesses, was expected to rejoin the team today.

Kevin Klein and Mikko Lehtonen were expected to be sent back to Milwaukee following the Predators' game with St. Louis on Saturday night, Coach Barry Trotz said.

after these past 2 games, we now have a very legitimate reason to be excited about Klein's NHL future.

Is Lehtonen still up? Either its the flu, the fact the Klein seems to play so much better in the NHL compared to when he's down in the A (according to what I've read from a few posters here and on one of the Ads boards), or like you said - deadline looks.

Is he being paired with Zanon when playing with the Preds?
