The NJ/STL game stood out to me when checking the scores around the league, 6-1 in the 3rd NJ. NJ is out shooting them 21-15.

It gives me a little hope seeing those two teams struggle like that combine with our record at home for these upcoming games.

This is a list of postponed games involving the Flyers. The one that wasn't related to weather was at Pittsburgh when arena employees went on strike.

Quote:
Tuesday marked the first time in Flyers history that an entire Flyers home game has been postponed due to severe weather... The last Flyers game to have been postponed due to severe weather came in 1993, against the franchise the Flyers are playing tonight - March 14, 1993 at Hartford against the Whalers… The previous day, March 13, 1993, the Flyers vs. Los Angeles Kings had their game postponed following the first period due to a pane of glass on the Spectrum concourse that broke because of blizzard conditions.

Below is a list, per the Elias Sports Bureau, of Flyers games that have been postponed due to various reasons...

12/12/1975: PHI at VAN
02/06/1977: ATL at PHI
02/11/1978: PHI at BOS
10/27/1979: PHI at PIT
03/13/1993: LA at PHI
03/14/1993: PHI at HFD
01/21/2014: CAR at PHI

I can't believe how many Canes fans were whining and crying about the game being postponed. Why have fans risk their lives trying to get to the arena? What a bunch of babies.

Gonna be tough to get points against most of those opponents...especially if they continue to play poorly.
Lots of tough games coming up although the Bruins are playing pretty poorly..

I hope we lay a beatdown on the canes tonight just so I can get pleasure out of canes fans being so outraged over the cancellation. It took me 3 hours to drive home from work yesterday people were going 5 and spinning out all over the place

Well I think money was the biggest factor in this & I totally agree with it by the way. Snider has every right to protect his interests. That's why they're Phiadelphia Flyers & not the Phoenix Coyotes.

I don't think fan safety was much in their mind because they knew outside of some knuckleheads not many would show if the game went on.

The snow could have been the difference between them facing and not facing Voracek

Because if the Canes have to play in front of an empty arena during home games other teams should too!!!

Apparently the Devils only had about 2k fans show up last night, but they pumped their chest out that they played.

Sure...

My theory:

Flyers were ready to play last night. Never happened. They should be over their hesitant play that starts the first and is gone, usually, by the third. Expecting a boisterous start tonight
