The most disappointing part of the game was that McDonagh the guy that's been flawless almost every game since the rough start got abused with Girardi all game. Players have games like that but that doesn't make any less painful when it does happen.

I *** hate isles fans (as a whole). They're the definition of troll. As far as the actual teams... I wish the Rangers cared as much about beating the Isles as us fans do.

Pretty sure he was rushing up the ice, and Girardi's pump fake kind of froze their D and gave Nash some time to move up ice quickly.

You must not have seen the play.. I believe it was Hamelin who was about 10 feet away from the bench and krieder jumps right on the ice as the play is right there.

No. Not why. You are allowed to temporarily have TMM in order to make a line change. There's even some sort of buffer for when changes are allowed to be made. Kreider hopped on before the guys got off. He then touched the puck. The new skater can't touch the puck at this point. Penalty. If he let the puck by then the penalty would not have been called. So how is it on the coach? And I said Kreider was one of the two non awful players today.

I blame Lundqvist. He was just being lazy and didn't feel like shoveling. Cam should be named starter as a result.

Please don't call me out again. I'm innocent.

All 8 of them?

Islander fans would be happy if their team went 4-78-0 if all 4 wins were against the Rangers.

When Girardi's and Callahan's agents begin to argue for 5m+ contracts, they should just play this game on a big screen. God awful.

The Isles suck. Massive holes in goal and on defense. They beat us the same way last time and sucked right after. Worst defense, goaltending and PK in the league. Great formula for winning.

This is standard. One-line team who gets pumped when they play in front of more than 346 people.

Once in 26 years. Thats how often these idiots have gotten past the 1st round.

Yes and no.

At least a few times in 2nd AV let players linger a little longer on ice, creating "hybrid" lines. Zucc played on the 4th a few times I think - was a bit strange. But hay - I was sleepwatching this....

I can tell who has actually played hockey and he hasn't. Yes the coach tells you to to go, but you know who your guy is well before the change.. It's your decision as a play as to,when to jump on.

so who is to blame today?

AV

simple as that
Hank had the flu or something, that's not on AV. I still don't get why Girardi was on the point at the end of the game on the PP though. Fitting ending.

Seriously. Most posters here would have lit their NYR swag on fire and jumped off a bridge a decade ago if they were in the situation the Isles have been. Can't even take losing in a close game once after a great run without hitting the panic button.

thats just as good as winning the cup to them. i know some fans who honestly believe that Poulin is better than Lundqvist.

If Cally has an offer on the table and he wants to stay- he better think about cutting his loses cause his game is slipping. AV is not as reliant on him as Torts was. Imho
