Oh, it gets better. I tried to call their office, only to be unable to get through. Turns out Virgin Mobile cancelled my service without telling me. So the company likely did call me, but couldn't get through.

So now I've got to deal with Virgin Mobile and get them to fix their mistake (it's supposed to auto-top-up the minutes when the balance gets low), then call the company and explain what happened.

Just a great first impression

Except tell Virgin Mobile to eff off or, in the alternative, to give you a bajillion minutes for their error.

I called the company and left them a message. If I don't hear anything back, it probably wasn't meant to be.

And now I'm getting texts from Virgin every 15 minutes. One telling me to top up, another telling me I've topped up. Another telling me my balance is 25 dollars. And my most recent one is telling my balance is .77 cents. Yeah, they've lost my service. I think their new plan is to simply text me to death.

Is the plan really that much cheaper than a Verizon/whatever plan for unlimited minutes?

Watching this Coyotes-Flames game on Gamecenter, and aside from seeing Calgary do to Phoenix what they did to us, I REALLY want some Whataburger. Damn, can't remember the last time I've had something from that place, must be going on a dozen years now.

I agree, but I hope you understand that reasonable people can think Sherman is not a thug AND think his post game comments were ill advised and terribly ungracious in victory.

I realize that defensive players, and especially corners (by virtue of being "on an island") are wired somewhat differently than say QBs...but think about the reaction if Kaepernick's pass reached Crabtree for the game winning touchdown, and Kaepernick launched into his own tirade, degrading Seattle's defense in the process. Would you feel differently? If he called Sherman a mediocre CB and that's why he challenged him on the last play?

Or even better...can you imagine the backlash if Tom Brady said something similar off of a game winning TD pass? Yeesh.

So you remember our favorite mascot? Pierre, the nightmarish pelican from New Orleans?

The team is thinking about changing it's head to make it "less scary for children". Twitter has started a movement to "keep Pierre strange". #SavePierre

Or if Belichek attacked the personal character of a small, former Pats WR, by accusing him of purposely injuring a fairly big CB on a pick play that the Pats also run... Now that would be a yeesh if it ever happened

Yeah that was bad, and everyone (sports radio world) called him out on it. He definitely never saw eye to eye with Welker, and he's carrying that grudge over.

I'd be curious to know what their original intentions were. I mean, did they over fill something, then it leaked into a different room or some such?

That's quite the gaff.
