We do need to shape up, but it's hilarious how we're on this streak and now we should just say **** it to the rest of the season... ******* guys...

Yeh... but I do understand the frustration, heck, I am extremely frustrated after the last two games... win yesterday and today (in two pretty winnable games) and the Flyers are 4th.

Put Emery on the wing..why not..we constantly have players not playing their natural positions..

I bet if we get Ryan he will play D..

That and the 3-1 lead they blew against the Isles. There's another point they just threw away.

Giroux line needs an even strength boost. Vinny is only workable at center.

There is an elegant solution, and it's one I've been proposing for weeks:

Giroux-Schenn-Voracek
Hartnell-Lecavalier-Simmonds
Raffl-Couturier-Read

Tanking is for the Penguins. We dont need to tank, if we finish in the 15th-25th pick range there is no reason we cant find a really good prospect. The Red Wings are always good and don't have to resort to tanking. Same with plenty of other teams. Tanking is for the Penguins, *******, and the NBA. I want to make the playoffs.

It becomes more realistic every time I think about it.

It should be an interesting couple of weeks.

Schenn at C with G on wing makes no sense

Vinny blows at center, too, that second line would be a black hole.

Don't like that at all

It actually makes perfect sense if you actually analyze each players' strengths and weaknesses.

Schenn is built to be a center. Giroux is built to be a versatile player who can play either center or the wing. It would seem intuitive to say the converse, but I disagree. I think Giroux/Schenn can be a similar dynamic to St. Louis/Stamkos because of Schenn's ability to get lost in coverage. Giroux is much more effective working off the wall than he is trying to make plays from the middle.

Giroux just doesn't get much done when he carries the puck up the middle of the ice, and I don't think he has the size or strength to make his space from the center spot.

I love Giroux, but five on five, he is not a dominant centerman. His even strength play would get a boost from a shift to the wing, imo.

So far Vinny has looked good only as a center. He's been a terrible winger. And people said the same about the Hartnell-Schenn-Simmonds line, but sometimes you find chemistry in odd places.

So I missed this game to get shellacked in a soccer game. I am sort of glad it happened, sounds like it was a real pisser.

****, if it means Giroux, Schenn, and Voracek on the same line I'm willing to try any damn combination. It's literally only a matter of time before somebody is competent enough to put this line together, whether it's Berube or another damn coach.

You could've been ***** by barbed wire and glass and it wouldn't have been as painful as watching Mez/LSchenn in this game...

This sucks... can't keep losing. All I want is to just sneak into the playoffs- 8 seed is actually what I want. I want the Penguins.

I am very much for getting g out of center. Guy does nothing to deserve that spot. I'd be tempted to put couts with him or schen

Okay, I definitely want G on the wing, but let's not go off the rails here. He's still our best player by far.
