he's usually not that bad, weird. what's funny is americans at the garden love to sing the canadian national anthem when canadian teams come in, but never open their mouth and sing to our national anthem. that kind of bothers me.

Nylander just stands there???

*** was that. He could have crossed it, should have shot it, and he just stands there.

If getting Canadians to keep their mouths shut, means keeping Bush in office, I'd vote to abolish term limits..

Kind of a rough period for Prucha, but the Rangers overall looked pretty good. Pock had a great chance to score, but the defense closed on him pretty fast.

0-0 first, NY has twice the amount of shots as the Leafs, but 3 times to the box is pushing it.

Eh...not a bad period, but not great.

Jagr's line was good at creating chances, but the other lines didn't get the same pressure. Still...some good chances, need to bury them.

Some weak penalties called, and the Rangers puck recovery and breakouts leave something to be desired.

Some pretty good physical play though.

Need to get out ahead in the second

Very good period...3 penalties= too much...but still a solid effort.

Any one notice Orr's great shift? I know I know most of you only see the negatives...

strange period, the Rangers were about 70% Fantastic for the period, and 30% terrible.

the terrible is mostly the penalty taking and a few turnovers. still though, they played a good period. Im just wondering what happens when the Leafs start to throw their weight around. The leafs didnt do much in the way of hitting in the first, and you KNOW that is coming soon.

I am not complaining on him, but he must one time that! If he gets it off fast enough it can be the softes knuckle puck and still get in if Raycroft don't pick up on him in time.

Very good "pinch" though.

Not much to say about the period really.

We opened up with a few good shifts, then were good on the PK.

While we are creating more, Toronto are always dangerous. Allot of firepower on the blueline and very strong infront of the net.

We must play a perfect game infront of our net, and Lundqvist better be sparse on his rebounds...

Two things, can Shanahan finally score soon? He doesn't have a perfect shot, its really hard but often low. But he is getting a ton of chances. It must come soon.

Lundqvist, finally (for me atleast) a game were you feel he have had time to get warm before a goal is scored on him! I have a heard time seeing him not saving 95% of the shots tonight.

Yeah, he got a shot on goal, and leveled Steen?, all in one shift. His best output all season.
