GDT: Senators vs Coyotes (Thurs Jan 29th)

Hmmmm... after a very dissapointing goaltending outing last night, I certainly hope we see Prusek get a chance tonight!!

Coyotes are a good team, even though their points don't really show it.

I would seriously have concerns if Lalime is in net tonight. It's about time to throw Prusek out there to start a streak.

I hope that there's a bus coming from Binghampton if Prusek blows up as well...

Wouldn't that be funny...

Prusek makes 22 saves
the powerplay scores 3
spezza, havlat and alfie all have multi point games

and Neil gets into 2 fights(well one because Nash backs out when everyone jumps in )

I am expecting Ottawa to play this game the same way they did after the "goal" last night, which was simply AWESOME. The difference in their play after that goal was remarkable, and had they played that way the entire game, we would have won about 15-0.

Which one? Sheafer's Beauty or Lalime's gaffe?

Ottawa REALLY should play like that from the get-go and not do it after they have their backs against the wall. Too little too late.

That fifth goal from Young really deflated the team, at the point they had surmounted a lot of pressure and I believe would have tied or won the game if not for that goal.

Youngs goal wasn't Lalimes fault (it was a 2-1). He didn't play it right (and I am sure he was still thinking about the previous goal), but it was STILL a 2-1, which leads to many a goal. Had Ottawa not been behind, that pinch isn't made and Dallas doesn't have the 2-1. it was a goal that happens when your down late in a game, and I have NO problems with it at all.

My Pro-Line ticket says that Boucher get's a shutout.

I'll probably be the idiot after the game...but it's a gut feeling.

Oh-Ho! Now I'm staying up to watch the whole game for sure!

(if your hunch turns out right, would you mind picking some lottery numbers for me? It's up to 65 mil down here and that might go a long way to paying off some bills!)

You won't have to be nervous about Saturday, even if Prusek has a 40 save shut-out JM will go back to LaLame.

Havlat tweaked his groin in the 3rd period of the game against the Stars.

Hard to believe that, after all the *****ing and moaning of the past 24hours, this team is now first in the east.

That's because us Sens fans get too upset about a problem that a lot of teams wish they were in a position like we are to be worrying about these problems. We need to calm down and enjoy the fact we are 1st in the East. Let time take care of itself and let the team ride a hot streak into the playoffs.

agreed, i am so sick and tired of this princess attitude many sens fans hold. It infuriates me more than anything else as a sports fan. Be happy about what we have going

I'd like to see if your attitude changes if Lalime continues to struggle and costs us a couple of games down the stretch, relagating us to 4th and a 1st round match-up with the devils. I for one get as anoyed as anyone with the usual pissing and moaning that goes on, but this is a serious problem worth moaning about.

BTW, Lalime will probably post a shut-out tomorrow, he always plays well after a stinker, problem is he usally follows up the shutout with another stinker.

That's why home ice advantage is so important for the playoffs!
