Dan Girardi only played 18:15. Second lowest on the team, only Moore played less with 18:01.

Hm.

We had more power plays than penalties.

Ice was pretty close for all the dman.

It's still surprising.

Klein, Staal, and Stralman played more than him. Those aren't PP guys.

Thought he'd get just above 20 minutes.

Staal and Stralman both had a +22% Corsi Rel. Next closest: Brassard, at +6. Just an amazing performance from those two.
Dominance.

Don't wanna make something out of nothing, but you really gotta wonder.

It's pondering that they'd trade for Kevin Klein, who's a faster but worse offensively Girardi, while Girardi's on the team.

If Klein can prove to handle bigger minutes (I think he can, to be honest), Girardi's days might be numbered. Especially after hearing the contract is "nowhere near done".

I wonder if NJ fans are finally embarassed for fatso's excuses after playing horrible?

It looks like they're just mad at Pete DeBoer, who (as I see it) is getting a hell of a lot out of a limited roster.

In his defense, he didn't think his jelly rolls would let him down this bad.

Great game to be at. Pretty cold but I wore plenty of clothes so it wasn't bad.

Yeah PDB is a great coach. Devils fans throw him under the bus because they can't admit the team just ain't that good.
