I'm in the same boat here.

That was me with Eng. Lit last last semester.

I just forgot how to write for half the semester.

It's because calculus isn't math. It's pure evil.

Kendrick Lamar losing a Grammy to Macklemore is a disgrace.

Fun stuff about that is, graduating with that degree, and going into that profession...I don't think I've done math that was harder than middle school algebra/geometry[after graduation].

Hows that make you feel?

Yeah, they're mostly kids from like.. the city/county where Amtrak stops at Croton Harmon or Hudson. They come here and say they're from NYC, which they are clearly not, and act like hipsters/they're from the Bronx.

Half the people in my senior economics class have apparently never heard of the Dow Jones, Nasdaq, or S&P 500.

Now, I don't proclaim myself to exactly be 100% in the know of what is going on in the world, but come on. Have they never seen 5 minutes of CNN or something? They'll be voting this year.

That wouldn't exactly give you knowledge of anything

The fact that half of them have never heard of it is absolutely mind blowing and scary. I wonder how many of the people in this class are economics majors who will wonder why they cannot find a job when they graduate.
