But he is a 7th round pick who may get a contract. That is a positive for our scouting staff. Your point is valid though.

+4 as well. Quietly snuck into top 10 in scoring.

Edit. He added an assist and is +5.

Edit2. 4 G 1A +6. Still in 2nd period.

Agreed he certainly appears to be a good candidate for a contract. His game seems to be very well-rounded. His ceiling might top out at the minor league pro level but giving him the time and guidance to continue his development looks to be a good bet.

One minor thing I love about Samuelsson is that when ever he fights it's because he's sticking up for his teammates.

Hache with 3 assists today.

As someone who attends all the eagles games, he is a gem, very slim chance he is back in major junior next year but I'd love to get to watch him another year.

I guess considering him to still be a Coyotes prospect is a stretch but apparently Tik really working on his trick shots.

Watching pvr'd Wisconsin vs Ohio game. Soleway's first goal. Tip in on a screen on a PP. He's a project. Needs to work on skating.

I'm going to take a wild guess and assume that Go Nics Go is ESL, or not his primary language. Don't see a need to make fun of his poor translation.

Lessio is a high energy player a great skater in a big frame. Good hard shot with a quick release, but not all that accurate. Tremendous work ethic, but at times can have tunnel vision that ruins his ability to use his line mates effectively. His bread and butter as a pro will be his ability to wreck havoc on the fore check and provide an equal effort on the back check. Made the team out of training camp due to his ability to push the pace and make people play at his speed, but struggled out of the gate to provide the same consistency as he had in preseason. This lead him to being demoted where statistically it seems like his struggles continued. Recently his efforts have been showing up on the score sheet as he gets more accustomed to the pro game. I'm thinking with the way the Coyotes are playing we will see a call up from him at some point before seasons end. Hope this helps.

Brock Otten (rt's homeboy) ranked the top OHL overagers, and Gaudet came in at #2. Specifically, he said he "Has the exact tool set that you'd look for in a PK specialist, 3rd/4th line center at the NHL level, which is precisely why the Phoenix Coyotes already signed him." Seems like Chipchura is the closest comparable we have on a roster chock full of "3rd/4th line" types.

Andrew Fritsch was an honorable mention as well but I'm much more bearish on him myself, as much for off-ice issues as on-.

Glad Giftopoulos is on the list. He's been the Spits most consistent player the last two years. I really like his game. Great two way player, pretty good hands, good shot and just an overall workhorse.

Domi is tied for 7th in the OHL scoring race, and has tied for first on his team despite playing fewer games. 70 pts in 44 games.

Max has 70 points in 44 game played this year. He will eclipes his 87 points in 64 this year. Kid is the real deal if you ask me.

Watched Samuelsson last night. Two goals. One was a beauty snipe shot to the short side.

Samuellson's dirty undisciplined play clearly on display. Even the Edmonton commentators were almost joking about it. The second Samuellson gets hit he snaps and retaliates and refs have learned to key on him and to watch for this. The other comment was "he hasn't drawn a penalty all season" meaning he has a reputation as a Carcillo type dirty "never get a favourable call" type player.

Watching Gaudet tonight. Wow. Great signing. Huge. Can skate. Defensively responsible. This is like getting a free 2nd rounder.

Plays in every situation. Wins draws. Stands in front of goalie on the PP. Prototypical 3rd line C in NHL.

Looked at a few youtube videos of him. I think he has good skill and grit. Maybe just has some temper issues
