Pap is already an improvement over Bourque or Briere.

You won't receive superstars for our crap.

Would make wonders to our possession game though....

Jägr only has 3 body checks this season everyone still wanted him.

What do we need exactly ? .. and please don't tell me ****ing Kyle Clifford cause I'll vomit...

PAP is a nice complementary Top 6 winger with a good physical play (he isn't soft)... but we need star forwards... if getting him, means being able to trade assets (Eller, Gallagher) in order to get better players (Kane, Vanek, etc.), I'm all for it...

But this is just a rumor and nothing more... getting him, won't change this team which sucks under MT...

...oh and MB hasn't showed me he could actually make a meaningfull trade...

You guys are funny thinking we can move bourque / briere / DD / aging forward for PAP. The Avs need help on D.

They need young D.

We happen to be showcasing one right now who oozes potential.

As I said, this can be very bad...

This is apple and oranges, try to take away the puck from Jagr, it's nearly impossible because of his size. He's a possession beast. Parenteau is exactly what we have an abundance of on paper.

Jagr uses his size to his advantage in the offensive zone, he can control the puck for minutes without anyone being able to take it away. Briere you push him off the puck with 2 fingers

Came here to post something like this. I dare you to score, or even put the puck at the net, with a Briere-Desharnais-Parenteau line! Maybe Gionta instead of Briere could help, half the time when he hits the net.

Diaz is the one who gonna be traded for pap... If it ever happens.

The LA kings are also interested by pap, and they have a surplus of d men.

What we desperately need, it costs a whole lot. Who are we ready to give out of this average team to get exactly what we need. The idea is that we need to become better and improve. So, I'm not a big fan...but like somebody said....and tons of anti-DD will like that.....if acquiring Parenteau means, somehow, involving DD in the trade....and some parts we don't like or don't mind....AND it finally makes Plekanec-Eller-Galchenyuk as our top 3 centerman....tell me how that's not what we need. It's not the ultimate solution making us a top contender...but it would be a nice step towards it don't you think? Not sure if it was always the case, but Parenteau is playing with MacKinnon and Talbot. So he'd probably be good with Pleks and Pacioretty no?

Right handed winger with two productive seasons under his belt despite being 30 years old. Needs to be sheltered and play on the PP as he's easily knocked off the puck and isn't a great skater.

Aside from the fact that he's right handed and French I don't see the fit if we need to give up a D prospect.

PAP for Diaz any day ofmthe week. He's not really soft, he'd be fantastic with Eller.

It's more likely Eller is traded than DD. Our management has done nothing to suggest they care about anything but being French and charactery.

They are not showcasing Beaulieu. They just want to make sure he can replace Diaz properly.

Little question here, but anybody knows why Avs would trade PAP? He doesn't have a great season, but he's a big part of Colorado's depth... I thought Col would trade a center (Stastny) before anything else.

I'm fine with getting PAP, if it's for one or more of Brière, Gionta, DD, Bourque, Diaz, Gorges, Bouillon and Murray.

Otherwise I don't want him here

PLEASE NO MB!!

Why arent you trading for Kane and Malkin!!

For the right price, why would anyone be against it? Our top 6 is lacking in talent an its not even funny. people are clamouring for different looks and trades, yet everyone the habs are "rumored" to target are the worst possible fits.
If a guy has all the tools, size, and great contract, guess what?? He isnt being traded!!!

and last time i checked our guys in hamilton arent exactly game changers.

The guys we all want are not available unless you trade all of our prospects and picks.

helpless.

He's having an average season but he was almost a point-by-game winger for the 3 previous seasons... but he's under 6'0 so Habs fan discredit him on the spot. Really.
