True Detective is some of the best tv I've ever seen.

Both Harrelson and McConaughey are ridiculously good and it's impeccably written and directed.

Drinking is for winners. I guess that keeps me in the middle.

Hot Pockets? Broccoli Cheddar ftw. Actually as long as you don't light your mouth on fire with the hot pocket then it is a win regardless of the flavor.

Not really into the flashy stuff there. Just find a groove or hold it all together and don't simply follow the guitar. Make it interesting. Bass playing is a philosophy and I think it gets lost when it makes itself the center of attention. You gotta have skill, but it's gotta ride the line between boring and too much.

I just can't get down with hot pockets in general. Even the ones that sound good I'm still going to burn the **** out of my mouth.

Stick them in the fridge for like 2 minutes after you cook them. Still warm, but not enough to burn your mouth.

I watched only the first episode of True Detective and I couldn't have been more bored in my life. It was on the level of waiting at the DMV before smartphones were invented.

Never anything Dream Theater. Blech.

Steve Harris I guess we can add. I don't think of him because I think the parts of his influence also influenced Ellefson.

Do you play?

No, I do have an electric guitar, but I never learned. I shifted my focus to signing metal music.
