Brian Rodney coughed up the puck on consecutive shifts in the D-zone, resulting in Chicago goals. The Admirals lost 2-1 because of him. Send him to Cincinnati!

About time they figured out how to get the puck past Calvin Pickard.

Pickard is having a horrible night ... 6 goals allowed on the first 29 shots faced

Good.
The Admirals Head Coach had a different opinion. One that involved some questionable calls by the on ice officials during the third period.

Check the Admirals Roundtable Chatterbox.

Admirals at San Antonio tonight. Toivonen is wearing #1. Hellberg in goal. (Update: Magnus let in 2 goals on the first 14 shots. The first period just ended.)

Van Guilder started between Moser and Beck, with Valentine and Ford on D.

Admirals lose in OKC 5-4 in SO. Maz has never allowed more than 2 AHL goals in a game, that I can remember. That makes only 2 points in the last 3 games. Milwaukee currently holds the 6th playoff spot, 2 points ahead of #7 and #8, and 2 points behind #5, the Chicago Wolves. The Admirals come home from their roadtrip and play on Tuesday.

I have boycotted them for years due to Dave Begel's rants that Milwaukee would be better off if the hockey team left town. Why they kept publishing that %$#! is beyond me, and was a disservice to the community. Ten years of positive stories and OM will have squared their account.

Thanks for the link, AF24!

Screw you, Dave Begel!

Begel is as crotchety as ever. The thing is, he's a troll to get hits on the website. If people would just stop clicking his "articles", they would get rid of him.

Essentially what David Climer and Clay Travis are to Nashville print and radio media are, respectively.

The H1N1 (Spanish flu from 1918, AKA Swine Flu from 1977 and 2009, AKA Influenza A) is hitting Wisconsin hard. People under 35 have no immunity, unless they got a flu shot. I don't know that FF has the flu, but there are a lot of sick people around Milwaukee at the moment! So glad that I did get a flu shot this year. Thirty-three confirmed dead in Texas so far.

Cehlin was out for the warm-up. He did not play.

Roussel played the wing instead of Valentine.

FF played Saturday night at the Rockford Peaches. Today, Milwaukee plays Rockford for the third day in a row in a home-road-home series. Gotta love AHL scheduling!

Milwaukee lost 4-3 in OT. The Admirals led 3-1 after 2 periods. The defense was flat at the beginning of the third period, allowing Rockford to tie the game. The IceHogs beat the Admirals to loose pucks and kept control of the puck in the first and third periods. Maz let in more than the usual 2 goals, but he didn't always get much help. It was the third game in three days for both teams, but Rockford outplayed them and outshot them 43-28. The OT goal was from 70 feet. Maz has a weakness that I saw in this game. Maybe the goalie coach can fix it.

Saros with 1 assist (25/26 saves in 3-1 victory against Ässät. Former NHLer Niklas Hagman with a goal against Saros)

Chase Balisy interviewed on the pipeline media show. he's in the first round of voting for the Hobey Baker. (Most likely won't make it). Sounds like Nashville might let his rights lapse to allow him to go to UFA.
