THis team came prepared. They played sloppy at times, but the came ready to lock down on the Isles. And for most of that 3rd period, they did.

Heartpounding effort.

Staal and Stralman were beasts, again.

Girardi had an amazing game too.

Carcillo lol. Starting to really like him.

Hank was a beast too.

Just so happy we got the win.

Dom Moore has had a solid season, but those may have been his two best games of the year.

The Rangers don't always play in an outdoor game.

But when they do, they're 4th line is going to win it for them.

not sure they looked very comfortable, didn't start using their speed until halfway through the game, but didn't give the Isles a whole lot except for Tavares' line and he's just a beast. glad to have the outdoor games over with!

I'll take it, big win for the standings, get another one on friday

RANGERS WIN!!!!!!!!!! Still unbeaten in outdoor games! 2012 Winter Classic (3-2 win over the Flyers) and this year 7-3 win over the Devils and 2-1 over the Islanders! Let's Go Rangers!!!

3 stars:
Chris Kreider
Dan Carcillo
Mats Zuccarello
Dom Moore

I know, I know. I just cannot pick 3

This board is funny. Two things I saw posted many times halfway through the game were: 1) the islanders scored so the game was over we lost and 2) carcillo sucks and is worthless.

Just funny that we scored 40 seconds after they did and then carcillo scores the game winner. Just funny stuff.

Feels good to win both outdoor games against our biggest rivals. Def feels good man.

Have to say Staal was fantastic tonight. Deserved the ball licking Pierre gave him. He looks fantastic lately. The Marc Staal of old.

The last minute of that game reminded me of the Blackhawks' game final minute.

The ice looked much improved in the second and third. There's probably something about that outdoor unused ice that makes it bouncy. After the first and some conditioning, it might have improved.

I think Staal was the best player on the ice. 1st, 2nd, 4th lines were all solid. 4th line was the best of the bunch imo. 3rd line was the biggest drag of the Rangers.

Should also mention that J Moore has looked MUCH better the past couple of games.
