IF its true, probably someone is sick or injured.

Or maybe they decide not to play Parros, but highly doubtful.

Why? He's 4th or 5th on the depth chart in Hamilton. Especially if he's going to be in the bottom 6.

My guess would be that as the trade deadline gets closer, the GMs want to see what can do as many players as possible.

The problem is that in fact, Parros is the second from the left on the upper chart.

If it is true he'll probably end up playing 3 minutes with Briere and Parros on the 4th line.

Me too, I would prefer to see him rather than Thomas, but on RDS the other night, they showed an interesting stats which I think Bergevin is following:

Almost all of Detroit's draftees that are now regulars on their team have played at least 100 games in the AHL. And they all look ready when in the NHL.

Bournival, Leblanc, Beaulieu didn't look out of place at all when playing in the NHL, and I think their AHL's stint has something to do with it. Let Andrighetto play his 100 games.

Who cares?

He'll play under 5 min. in limited ice time and be a non factor. No difference if it was Nattinen or Leblanc or Blunden or Holland or Dumont etc.

We have really, REALLY crappy forward options in Hamilton and the only reason they get called up is to fill in 5 min. to rest the other players sporadically. This is not a call up to give him a shot at proving himself.

Habs are just riding another horse on the carrossel of futility of prospects who will never take a regualr shift at the NHL level. Sad but true.

I can only see Thomas replacing a small guy on one of the first three lines. If the Habs need fourth line fodder, Tarnasky or Blunden would be far better choices.

Unlike most posters here, I have not written Thomas off. Guys with his release are rather rare in our organization. Thomas has been plagued by injury all season long. Let him get healthy and see what he can really do.

Eventually, if andrighetto ever plays in Montreal, he might become the answer to our 2nd PP at the blue line.

The diminutive forward has a wicked slapper and can make passes….

In other news Kristo scored 2 goals and added an assist last night. Finished the night +3.

I can't see them call up Thomas, especially not vs Boston.
