Poor Byron.

I'm glad he's pulling down 3.5 but I don't believe he'll be getting a raise any time soon. He still uses the same technique, those out of control dives and flops when he's in trouble. Even with the blown up pads, I still think I could score on Byron. I don't dislike the guy but when everyone always blames our D for losing to Montreal, I wonder. Mr Dafoe didn't exactly instill huge amounts of confidence in our guys either. Hate to kick him when he's down but, he is the poorest looking netminder I've seen in a while. Hint; don't let the wife get too used to the paychecks you're bringing home.

Yeah, the Thrashers firewagon style of play exposes Dafoe big time. Usually the shots he faces are within a flurry or an odd man rush. It's fun to watch the Thrashers play though. They keep things moving at all times. I read somewhere the other day that they have come back from down 2 goals to earn wins (or points) more than anyone else this season. Not tonight though. They deserved a better fate tonight I thought...puck bounced the wrong way a couple of times and then of course Byron let in a short side wrister from the faceoff dot. ouch.
