All four of our centres were phenomenal today. Good win.

I also see an adjustment in the defensive zone the last couple of games. No longer are the habs defense chipping the puck along the boards to their forwards, only to lose it at the blueline.

What we see now is a no nonsense approach from the d. Its either off the glass and out, or flipped out to the neutral zone. This is the right approach at least until the habs can gain some confidence.

Night and day from the recent slide. Amazing how fragile confidence is.

DD and Gallagher were surprisingly effective against Chara tonight.

great post. It's reall making a difference because while it's not the flashiest or most exciting strategy, it's effective and safe. Combine that with strong support from our forwards and we're spending less time in our end.

There was only a few times tonight where we were hemmed in but that was mostly our 4th line

Meltdown averted? All is good now? Mad I missed the game. Haven't watched a single Habs/Bruins game this year. Sounds like we have their number this year.

Yep. Tank Eller was back. Love it when he controls the puck like he did.

I wonder if the league would let us play the Bruins every game.

He played a decent game but there were better performances on the ice than him.

Emelin was the beast tonight. Same for Murray.

It's fun having legitimate zone entries. At least in comparison to watching Bourque's sad attempts in puck retrieval.

Was disappointed that he didnt drop the gloves with Marchand. That would have been epic.

It's true. His 12 points and +5 against the Bruins are career bests against any team. Fun stat, though: DD is 2 PPG vs Detroit and Minnesota in his career.
