Atlanta lost against the Flyers 5-2. They so need this one.

With as many chances as we've had, we should have put this game away long ago.

****ing Chara wins it. Canes are now in 8th place with 59. Toronto is 9th with 58 but has a game in hand.

ok, KMac needs to go NOW for someone that can accually instruct this team how to run a ****ing powerplay. The guys need to get selfish and ****ing SHOOT THE PUCK ON THE POWERPLAY. This "perfect pass" ******** simply isn't working. I don't care how much the zebras missed or if that 4 minuter on Cole was ********, with what we had in terms of opportunities only one goal is unacceptable. Add in how ineffective it's been the last few games... yeah, time to go KMac, wish you well... oh and bring Belanger along with you.

Can we sink much lower than this? 14 power plays, and we finally score on the last. We lose at home in OT to Boston, who hand us the game every way they can. These guys couldn't shoot it in the ocean right now, much less carry the puck in. I haven't seen so mich dump-and-chase since the horrors of 2004.

Right now, looking at our play in the last three weeks, are we really better than any team in the east. We're playing down to the level of Philly and Boston at this point, and plummeting fast.

an ACHA team? And yeah, paper bag is coming with me next game, might as well try and get some karma going by showing them how I feel about their play the only way I can as a season ticket holder.

We come off a disappointing January into a 3-game homestead with Toronto, TB and Boston and another chance to make some headway. Instead we look awful (except for Ward's play in net) and get a total of 1 point. I'm having a hard time understanding how this team is playing this poorly right now. We get healthy on D and now our forwards can't find the goal if their life depended on it.

Lavi has to be pulling his hair out.

There might be a need for a shakeup trade with a team in a situation much like our own out West. If we can find a team that wants to swap parts, more than likely Belanger and a defenseman, for a shot of new blood that would probably be for the best.

What JR does between now and next week at this time will decide if he's folding the tents up on the season. We'll need to know if we're buyers or sellers by the deadline.

Our PP is now at 15.2%, 27th in the NHL. Thank goodness for Philly, St Louis and Chicago.

I guess NC State used up all the magic in the RBC Center today.

Although quite frankly, I'm not complaining.

No apologies needed. I'd rather see you guys back in the playoffs instead of the cursed Habs.
