#2 center??? I wanted him 2 years ago but the guy almost didnt play this year and he is in no way shape or form a second line center option for this team. Hes a glorified Betts IMO. Great on faceoffs.
Perrault has more points this season, a season that began for him in November, than Betts has in his career.

Being good on face off is what any C needs, but it is critical for defensive centre. Nylander is not as dominant on face-off as Betts is, but he is good in other part of the game. Perrault made the entire line work well. That is what we need. If he is good on face-offs, that is an additional benefit. That alone doesn't make Perrualt any similar to Betts. That is why all this Betts thing is completely irrelevant. That's all about rocket science... I'm not getting into prophecy issues with you.

All defensemen we currently have besides Ward and Girardi are puck movers. Why Rachunek?
