Shopping: Reebok 16K vs. Bauer Vapor X6.0

So I'm doing to research as it's time for me to get another stick and was hoping you could help... I previously had a Reebok 11K and really like it, which lasted about a year (men's league, no slap shots).

I'd like to continue with Reebok, but I've read that the 16k's (even the 20k's) chip and break easily... so I was thinking of maybe a Bauer Vapor X6.0.

I'm looking for an intermediate, 65-67ish flex stick around $100-$120...

Any advise?

Thanks!!!

Never heard of or seen any problems with Reebok sticks.

The 6.0 is a step above the 16K and should be lighter, better balanced and technically better performing. The Vapors are also primarily low-kick like the SicKicks are. You will notice a smaller/more concave shaft on the Vapors over the Reeboks.

i've been using reebok 18k's for a little over a year now with no complaints

they are great sticks with a low kick point if you primarily shoot more wrist and snapshots

I use the 20K and I really like it. I had high end sticks before and this is up there with them. I had it for a month or so, can't tell you about longetivity, but it shoots well, easy to load (even though I went from a 65 flex Easton to 70 flex on the RBK, cut to about ~72), and has great balance.

I would put the extra few bucks out, and get the 20K.

I will +1 izzy's comments exactly (including flex ) except I've played with mine for 3 months and take an occaisional slapshot. I've heard the 20k fixed the problems with the 11k blade but I think the only given about stick durability is that Easton blades have been (maybe still are) flakey.

I also bought CS from Hockey monkey but I bought the adult at 75 flex for a little more slapshot velocity.
